Battery life is highly dependent on frequency of use and the way the batteries are charged. After being tested for 1,000 charge/discharge cycles, Bosch lithium battery’s capacity still remains 70%, equivalent to 6-8 years of use.
The battery’s life will last longer when being used in the range of 20-80% of its capacity. If used and stored within this range, battery life will be much better. Moreover, lithium batteries are particularly sensitive to high temperatures, therefore, it is necessary to avoid charging when they are hot.
Warranty policy for VinFast e-scooter batteries is 3 years with unlimited number of kilometers (equivalent to 1,000 charge/discharge cycles).
