- What is on the steering wheel of VinFast Fadil model?
Steering wheel of VinFast Fadil model is provided with 2-way manual adjustment. Leather cover, integrated audio control keys and hands-free conversation are available for advanced and premium editions, not available for base edition.
It is possible to control the infotainment system and mobile phone connection through the controller on the steering wheel.
To adjust the Fadil steering wheel, first unlock the wheel adjustment lever at the bottom of the steering wheel column, adjust the steering wheel to the desired position and then push the steering wheel adjustment lever down to lock the steering wheel in position.
- Infotainment system on VinFast Fadil model
Fadil model has AM/FM, MP3 audio system, with 06 speakers that can connect to Bluetooth and 02 USB ports on the Advanced and Premium editions. Particularly, the base edition has only 01 USB port.
It is easy to use the radio by subscribing to up to 24 AM-FM channels with preset buttons from 1-4 on every 6 pages. Meanwhile the USB player can play USB storage devices or connected music players.
Notes: To enable USB player to work, it is required to make sure the data is formatted in FAT16 or FAT32 standard. The system may not be able to recognize data in NTFS standard or other standards.
A storage device using a hard drive (HDD) or an SD or CF card that is connected with a USB hub may not work. It is recommended to use a USB or storage device using flash memory card. Connection to these storage devices may be interrupted due to vehicle vibrations. Fadil infotainment system supports the following audio formats: MP3, MP4, M4A, M4B, AAC, 3GP and WAV.
Cell phone connection via Bluetooth enable users to make wireless phone calls and play music through the phones. You can also connect your portable music player to an auxiliary port (AUX) input to enjoy abundant sound of the six-speaker entertainment system.
A digital audio processor with preset equalizer modes optimizes sound quality for listeners.
- Does VinFast Fadil have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto application?
The 7'' touch screen that connects to cell phones via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto applications is available for the advanced and premium editions, but not available for the base edition.
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay applications can be used via compatible smartphones. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay icons appear on the home page of the information system display.
Notes: Use a compatible USB cable to connect your Android smartphone or Apple Iphone and plug into the USB port. Use the provided USB cable for best performance. Non-genuine cables or cables purchased from unauthorized stores may not work.
- Air conditioning system of Fadil model
Fadil base and advanced editions have manually adjusted air conditioning systems. Particularly, premium edition has automatic air-conditioning system with humidity sensor. Fadil air conditioner automatically reduces the fan if the driver answers the phone connected to its infotainment system.
The automatic air conditioning system controls the temperature, air distribution, fan temperature, air circulation, defrost and thaw, air conditioning. When the AUTO mode indicator light is on, the system operates in automatic mode.
Notes: Keep the engine compartment clean to ensure air inlet. Remove all leaves and dirt. It is recommended to replace the filter during routine maintenance. Air filters should be serviced regularly if driving on dusty roads, polluted areas and unpaved roads. This reduces filter efficiency and has a negative impact on the bronchus.
