- What safety features does VinFast Fadil model have?
- Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
ABS operates by preventing the wheels from locking up during braking, thereby maintaining tractive contact with the road surface and allowing the driver to maintain more control over the vehicle effectively in dangerous situations with limited risk.
All 3 Lux SA2.0 editions are equipped with ABS anti-lock braking system. The system works immediately after the engine is started.

Brake Assist system
This system increases braking pressure in an emergency, thereby shortening the stopping distance. The system only works when the driver does not relieve pressure on the brake pedal during braking. All 3 Fadil editions are equipped with Brake Assist system.

Electronic Brake Force distribution (EBD) function
Using electronic sensors, EBD distributes equal brake force to each wheel to maximize stopping power while maintaining the driver's vehicle control. Always coupled with anti-lock braking systems (ABS), EBD can apply more or less braking pressure to each wheel in order to maximize stopping power whilst maintaining vehicle control. - Hill Start Assist (HSA)
This system assists the driver when departing on a steep road without using the handbrake. The driver only needs to use the foot brake to keep the vehicle to a stop, then release the brake and drive away. After the foot brake is released, the system will maintain the brake pressure for a set period of time (usually one second) as you switch from the brake to the accelerator. Depending on the load or if the vehicle is towing another vehicle, the car may be pulled slightly behind.
Notes: You needs to drive away immediately because after releasing the foot brake, the HAC system will not maintain the brake pressure for more than 1 second, and then the car can drift backwards.

Electronic stability control (ESC) system
ESC system balances the traction on the wheels thereby improves the vehicle's stability while traveling. Depending on the operating conditions, ESC maintains your vehicle's stability by reducing the engine speed and braking each wheel. -
Roll Over Mitigation (ROM) system
Roll Over Mitigation (ROM) system constantly monitors your vehicle's handling behaviour using sensors. If it detects anything that may result in the vehicle potentially rolling over, it will then control the braking and driving forces on individual wheels to control the situation and stabilize the vehicle. It is very important that a small car like Fadil is equipped with a Roll Over Mitigation system in case of emergency steering while traveling at high speed. - Cameras and sensors
Backup cameras are available for Fadil advanced and premium editions, but not available for base edition.
Rear parking sensors are available for Fadil premium edition but not available for base and advanced editions. - Air bag
Fadil model has an airbag system. Base and advanced editions have 2 airbags while the premium edition has 06 airbags including 2 front airbags and 4 side airbags.
In addition, all 3 Fadil editions have emergency tensioning feature. In case of a collision from the front or the rear of a certain severity, seat belts will be automatically tensioned to hold the passengers with the seat, thereby reducing the risk of bodily injury.
Notes: Only the workshop is able to remove the emergency tensioner that has been activated, each emergency tensioner is only activated once. It is recommended not to attach or install additional accessories or objects that may interfere with the emergency tensioner operation. Do not modify the emergency tensioner components as not to affect the product quality.
Notes: The controller of airbag system and emergency tensioner are located in the middle storage compartment. Do not place magnetic objects in this area.
Do not poke the air bag cover nor cover the air bag with anything. Like emergency tensioner, airbag is only activated once and must be replaced at a workshop.
