Las Vegas, January 5 – During the VinFast Global EV Day at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2022), VinFast announced a new development strategy and revealed its complete electric vehicle lineup covering five segments.
Las Vegas - Jan 3, 2022 - VinFast today announces it will commence reservation program for its first two EV models – VF e35 and VF e36 – beginning on January 5 at CES 2022. VinFast will apply blockchain technologies in the reservation process to certify reservations, payments, and eventually vehicle ownership. VinFast’s application of blockchain makes it one of the world’s first automakers to put this advanced technology into use.
Hanoi, December 27, 2021 – Vingroup announced that it has appointed Le Thi Thu Thuy, the incumbent Vice-Chair, as its new VinFast Global CEO. Her predecessor, Mr. Michael Lohscheller, will leave the position and return to Europe due to personal reasons.

December 12, 2021 – The People’s Committee of Ha Tinh Province and Vingroup officially began construction of the VinES Battery Manufacturing Factory in the Vung Ang Economic Zone (Ha Tinh). The facility is backed by VND 4,000 billion (nearly 173.7 million USD) in investments and is being developed on 8 hectares in its initial phase. The establishment of this factory represents an important milestone in VinFast’s strategy of self-production and supply of batteries with global standards for its electric vehicles.
